Look! Is that... is that... Elementary on KDE 4!?
Why yes. Yes, it is. I recently upgraded my system to Karmic Koala, Kubuntu flavour, and I'm currently far too in love to move back to GNOME for the time being. So I've decided to start porting ~DanRabbit's amazing Elementary suite to KDE4.x. Completed: - QtCurve setting; - Colour Scheme; ToDo: - DeKorator theme/Domino windec config Also, the Elementary icon theme works excellently in KDE4.3. Proof of how extensive Dan's theme is. As a replacement for Gnome-Do, which lack satisfactory KDE support, KDE4's own KRunner is actually very good. /izo\ |

Still have to get to understand how to add entries to xdg-users-dirs before, I read it was also used on KDE...
Is KDE theming easier than Gnome ?

There are now, for KDE4.3, some EXCELLENT theming engines. QtCurve is a flexible as ever, Bespin offers some AMAZING configuration options and there's the extremely underrated QuantumStyle - a completely pixmap-style engine using SVGs. There's hardly any themes made for Quantum yet, but I feel that's the future.
Plus lots of KWin styles as well. Aurorae's one of my favourite - SVG-themeable pixmaps again with proper transparency.
There is a LOT of potential for awesome KDE4.x theming. It just requires people getting to grips with the new technology and, hopefully, some awesome designers releasing a few themes.
