that dock on the side really messes this up, needs to be at bottom or top, maybe even centered on side and definitely some better icons that flow with rest of your icons. The presentation of nautilus should be wide versus standard to compliment the resolution which is also wide. Otherwise this is great.

Cheers man, the dock on the side is there to mimic the default UI layout of what will eventually be Ubuntu Unity. Solid criticism.

I was kind of figuring that were mimicking that layout, but I'm not sure what ubuntu was thinking with that setup. That positioning is confusing for the interface and makes it illogical for maximum screen real estate.
