Something I've been working on for a while now -- based on mixing two of my favourite OS GUI's: Mac OS X with the 'Aqua' style and Ubuntu with the 'Human' style.
Mixing the two together produces the unholy offspring known as 'Aqua-Human'. This is quite a customised desktop. I've changed lots of things, graphically and in terms of code.
The music controller is called "music applet". If you use Ubuntu Feisty, it's in the repositories. Though I think the version in the repositories is slightly out-of-date. A newer version can be found on the net. This version I have, from the repositories, works with Rhythmbox, Banshee and Muine.
